Murdah And DJ Zinhle have been married for 6 months

DJ Zinhle’s The Unexpected which airs on Showmax, started off on the right track with the famous DJ revealing that she and her second baby daddy,

Bongani Mohosana, are married!

Bongani, who is famously known as Murdah Bongz, or Mörda, has a baby with the Indlovu hitmaker named Asante Mohosana. They each have kids from their previous relationships.

During the first season of The Unexpected, DJ Zinhle always spoke about how much she does not want to get married. “I’m not going to get married, ever!”

But, she slowly warmed up to the idea of being a wife and having Bongani as her husband.Zinhle revealed that 6 months ago, Bongani’s family went to her home and discussed lobola. It is generally known that once lobola is paid, the couple is traditionally married.

According to the mother-of-two, Bongani does not want to be referred to as a boyfriend anymore but wants to be called ‘husband.’ “Bongani wants to be served [as a] husband. He doesn’t want to be called boyfriend anymore. There has been a lot of change since you guys last saw me,” she said. “Bongani and his family came to my mom’s house to negotiate lobola. And we decided that it should be a small thing, with just family,” she added.She said a long conversation between her and Bongani lead to them getting married.“I just never had ambitions to get married. I never wanted it, I never felt like I was with anyone I wanted to marry but Bongani and I spent a lot of time talking about it thinking about what we want to do.”DJ Zinhle said she is excited to be a wife and loves sharing the news with people.“I’m excited to be his wife, I’m excited to try something I never would of thought would happen for me. In the show, Zinhle also explained how their relationship started saying, she received a life-changing DM from the Black Motion group member. “I remember the one time; I think a year ago when I got a DM [direct message] from Murdah Bongz. And when I read this message it said, ‘I like you a lot’. And then I read and thought, ‘I win, he likes me’,” Zinhle said admitting that she thought it was a mistake.DJ Zinhle once explained that parenting with Bongani is easier compared to co-parenting with AKA. “This is a different experience with Bongani who is completely amazing. I just need to be in it with new energy. As scary as it felt, it just felt good to be with someone who is so reassuring, someone who is there.”
