South African songstress Kelly Khumalo has finally responded to Advocate Malesela Teffo claims that she shot her then soccer star boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa.

Advocate Malesela Teffo claimed he has an eyewitness that will testify  Kelly Khumalo shot Senzo Meyiwa by mistake.

“I put it to you Mr Mosia that a witness, not just a witness, an eyewitness will testify that Senzo Robert Meyiwa was allegedly shot by Nonhlanhla Kelly Khumalo by mistake, as it’s alleged,” he said.

Kelly Khumalo’s lawyer Magdalene Moonsamy told eNCA that the singer was quite upset to hear about Advocate Teffo’s claims.

“At first I didn’t want to call her as she was upset. When we spoke her reaction was I am a mother. My child was three months. How dare he,” she said.

She also added that Kelly Khumalo can not wait for her day in court so that she can say her side of the story.

“What do they want from me. It started with claims of intimidation. She then said we are going to now break the silence.”

“She’s confident. Kelly is a person of high spirits you don’t get to that level without character development and building,” she added

In the same vein, Kelly Khumalo who seems unfazed by the ongoing claims flashed a middle finger on people’s faces with a new song. The song is titled Bazokhuluma, which can loosely be translated to ‘people will always talk’.

Taking to her Instagram page on Thursday morning, Kelly announced her upcoming track ‘Bazokhuluma’.

She looked unfazed by what is currently going on in her short video where she was drinking and smoking with friends while listening to the unreleased track. Kelly could be seen in her usual bubbly mood while singing along and whistling to her song.

“Kusazonyiwa, sizongena kuDecember nge Skateboard,” she jokingly said insinuating that her song was a banger to take people through to December.
