Police stopped a suspicious car loaded with blue plastics at the back and this is what they found
The South African Police Service (SAPS) Highway Patrol members have managed to secure the successful arrest of two male suspects after they were found in possession of endangered specie (Abalone), the suspects are currently detained in jail awaiting their court appearance.
According to the saps news report, on Monday, 1 August 2022 in the afternoon the South African Police Service (SAPS) Highway Patrol members were busy conducting patrols along the N10 road when they spotted a suspicious vehicle loaded with blue plastic bags at the back approaching towards their direction
The South African Police Service (SAPS) members signaled for the driver of the vehicle to stop, then they conducted a thorough search which resulted in them seizing a total of 7 615 units of abalone which is valued at R1.3 Million, two male suspects were immediately placed under arrest.
The suspects are currently detained in jail and will soon make an appearance in court to face charges for possession of abalone
